Always go to the Greek Festivals to stock up on two of the Original Oils. Often they sell out of the Olio Nuovo. Didn't want to wait til May, or risk sell out, so ordered it on line immediately when available. Probably paid a few dollars more but at least it was available - and smells and tastes just great like always! Shipping was super fast and very well packaged.

Excellent event! Educational for sure. Enjoyed the food, wine, music, and the samples of the vinegars and the olive oils. Premium quality EVOO. Easy to order online. Well packaged and received quickly. I'm trying it for its health benefits. I like that it's made from one variety of olive, early harvest and cold pressed. It's has exceptional polyphenols and other health benefits with low acidity. Very peppery flavor!

Flavor is good. I expected a stronger feeling in my throat (due to the amount of polyphenols) than I can get from grocery store olive oils, so I was a little disappointed. But I did enjoy it so I gave it 4 stars.
Hello! The peppery sensation in the throat is a great observation, as it's directly realted to the presence of fresh polyphenols and oleocanthal. If you're looking for a noticeably stronger 'throat kick', we would absolutely recommend trying our Olio Nuovo EVOO or our ZOI High Phenolic EVOO, which are harvested earlier and specifically crafted for a much more robust, peppery finish.
