Anonymous After confirming my purchase the screen said I could track my shipment through Shop , something I was unfamiliar with. I went to Shop and entered basic information but it said I had to download the app.
I got the app and couldn't find any tracking information but it had my credit card stored!
It was a shopping app and your company must get some benefit for your association but I must now cancel my credit card and get a new one. Very time consuming for recurring subscriptions. Shame on you!

We would like to clarify that the Shopify App is a third-party platform used by many companies to help create websites, streamline order tracking, and make it easier for customers to access their order details in one place. We do not receive any financial benefit from its use, nor do we personally have access to or store your credit card information through that app.
The intention in offering the Shopify App as an option at the end of a transaction was simply to provide a more convenient way for customers to track their shipments. That said, it is entirely optional. All tracking information is also sent directly via email at the time your order if fulfilled, so there is no need to download or use the app if you prefer not to.
